Dates cakes

Ingredients:

Filling:
 
* 500g dates * 1 teaspoon cinnamon * 1 teaspoon butter * 1 tablespoon sesame seeds * 1 tablespoon orange-flower water * egg white

Pastry:
 
* 500 gr flour * 2 tablespoons icing sugar * 25O gr margarine * 1 yoghurt (vanilla flavor)

Decoration:
 
* 1 bowl icing sugar

Preparation:

Pastry : combine flour, icing sugar, margarine and yoghurt. Ream until smooth dough. Filling : wash dates, deseed and steam for 20 minutes (you may purchase dates paste in market). Add cinnamon, butter, sesame seeds and orange  flower water and then knead.

Roll out thinly dough and cut circles with a punch. Brush contours with egg white. Form balls with filling and place inside circles.
Seal pastry with plastic tool. Place cakes onto greased tray, stick with fork and bake in preheated oven at 180°C 15 min.
Once cooked and golden, sprinkle icing sugar on both sides.
