oujda brioches
Ingredients:
* 1 kg flour * 2 large glasses oil * 4 large glasses castor sugar * 1/2 large glass sesame seeds * 2 eggs * 2 tablespoons cardamom powder * 2 tablespoons aniseed powder * 2 packets baking powder * 1 teaspoon baker's yeast * warm water
Preparation:
In bowl, combine flour, oil, sugar, sesame seeds, 1 egg, cardamom, aniseed and baking powder and baker yeast. Knead well adding gradually water until smooth dough.
Divide dough into balls in shape of eggs; roll out with your hands to get thin rods 20 cm long. With scissors, split one end into 2, turn the other end and seal it with both splits.
With a knife, decorate with little cuts. Brush with egg yolk, then place onto greased oven tray and let it rise 30 min Bake in preheated oven at 180° C. preserve brioches in hermetic box to keep therm crispy.
